Princes Hill Secondary College - Year 10 'Creativity In Performance'
Princes Hill Secondary College return to the Bergy Bandroom this November with the Year 10 'Creativity In Performance' class to wrap up the year.
The event will showcase three bands, Heebie Jeebies, Grippy Slippers, and 100 bpm. Each band will showcase sets of music worked in throughout Semester 2, with some additional features in each set. The show will close with a special performance merging a couple of people from each band to present the ultimate form of music.
The Heebie Jeebies are a 5-piece group who play a wide variety of contemporary music, ranging from jazz fusion to alternative indie to classic folk. The band features vocalist Olive Ho, Bassist Jack Korr, guitarists Drew Von Ess and Olive Ho, and drummer Cassidy Scoones. Come see them play at the Bergy Bandroom on Wednesday the 27th of November!
We’re The Grippy Slippers, and we’re ready to rock the Bergy Band Room. Join us for a night of the best pre-2000s classics, featuring songs from legends like The Cure, The Cranberries, and other bands. We’re bringing the nostalgia (and maybe a little chaos), so come sing along, tap your feet, or just laugh as we relive the golden era of music. See you there!
We are 100bmp, a six-piece ensemble showcasing a programme of jazz. We'll begin our night with the famed Caravan, featured in Whiplash, and ending our night with crazy race. All of our members, Jasper, Amber, Luca, and Sam will be playing different instruments throughout the night, except for Gordon on the sax and Alex Calia on drums. We hope you enjoy the jazz fest!
