When Eugene 'Hideaway' Bridges opened for B.B. King at the State Theatre in Sydney some years ago, his version of Sam Cooke's 'A Change Is Gonna Come' was a showstopper. Now in 2025 Eugene is back in Australia to present a show that features a tribute to both B.B. King and Sam Cooke as well as a collection of his own best known songs. The opening set is all Eugene and his band, followed by a 90 minute second set that features the classic B.B. and Sam Cooke songs. With both a great blues and incredible soul voice, not to mention some great guitar artistry, Eugene is equally at home paying tribute to both these artists in show that's steeped in music history.
