Teacher Comedy Night – Daniel Delby

When you're in the teaching industry, if you don't laugh you'll cry so come and cry with laughter!

Daniel Delby returns to Burleigh for the ultimate end of year wrap up with his sell-out hit show, Teacher Comedy Night.

You may recognise Daniel Delby from this year’s Britain’s Got Talent — but before stand-up comedy, he spent more than a decade surviving the front lines as a high school teacher.

After realising his funniest material came straight from the classroom, Teacher Comedy Night was born.

Hosted by Delby himself, every show is packed with outrageous school stories, hilarious student work, audience interaction, games, news segments, and unpredictable crowd moments that make every night completely unique. Expect a guest comedian to drop by too.

And the best part? No two shows are ever the same. Every city gets fresh material, new stories, and brand-new chaos.

Whether you’re a teacher, partnered to one, survived high school yourself, or just love a huge night of comedy, this show delivers big laughs for everyone.

“An incredibly clever comedian… completely engaged with the audience, clearly having a blast, and exudes charisma and charm.” – FringeFeed

It’s interactive, relatable, and gloriously unhinged… but fair warning: Karens and Garys may not cope.
