MASSACRE (USA)

Bleed Records is proud to present MASSACRE, for the first time in Australia, playing the 1991 Earache Records Classic 'From Beyond' plus additonal 'Inhuman Conditons' EP.

Established in 1984, the Florida-based death metal pioneers initially emerged as a heavy/power metal band, later transitioning to death metal upon the arrival of Allen West and Kam Lee, the later credited with inventing the 'death growl,' first showcased in their 1986 demo.

Throughout its history, the group underwent numerous lineup changes and temporary disbandments, transforming from its early incarnations as MASSACRE, comprising former members from Mantas (precursor to Death), and Death, the pioneer of the genre.
