Torin Harte | Back In The Basement
Espy Basement (St Kilda, VIC)

Torin Harte returns to the Espy Basement, but this time for his first headline show! Growing up in the Falkland Islands, Torin is a small town boy at heart, which can be heard in the country- folk influences in his music. Moving to Melbourne a little over a year ago, Torin quickly established himself in the St Kilda music scene, meeting like-minded musicians and forming an exciting new band.
Strongly influenced by the likes of Zach Bryan, Tyler Childers, and the Red Clay Strays, Torin and the band bring an Americana feel to their shows. Add to that the insane talent of Bella playing lead on the saxophone, Riley laying down the beat on drums, and Jacob delivering a rich bassline, Torin’s sound is a fresh take on the country genre—often incorporating an indie-rock feel.
If that wasn’t enough, Torin is joined by a pair of stellar support acts in Danni K and Liv & the Dream!
Danni K is a Melbourne-based artist blending heartfelt storytelling, infectious melodies and high- energy live presence, with a sound rooted in rock-country. Originally from Perth, Danni’s music draws on real-life experiences, heartbreak and change, with increasingly honest and unapologetic lyrics.
Liv & The Dream are a six-piece Naarm-based band who first came together while studying music at university. Their music weaves folk, rock, ballads and touches of country into honest, heartfelt stories about life’s messy moments. Refusing to fit neatly into one category, Liv calls their sound “sad girl indie folk rock”—a genre of her own making that captures the band’s raw sincerity and refusal to conform.
Formed in the St Kilda music scene, it only seemed fitting that Torin and the band return to their musical home to perform their first headliner!
