Poetry slam! The anti-Valentine's edition!
Do you love love? Well this event is not for you. February means Valentine's Day and we wanna celebrate the love-fails.
Bring us your break up poems, the late night texts sent after too much wine, the memoir of the time you got blocked from tinder.
This is a poetry slam with a twist. Anyone can sign up for 2 mins on the mic (we'll sing you off at 2.30) original material only, and the crowd gets to judge and cheer you through the night.
Poetry slams are best enjoyed with friends, so given the theme, bring a date you know will go badly, an ex you wrote the break up poem about, or your mum so she can hear the piece you wrote about how she'll never be a grandma. Aww.
