The Whyb Project is hitting the southern beach pub of Melbourne in St Kilda, Hotel Esplanade, in an attempt to rise it off the floor and into space on the 31st of July. This band is centred around the funky chunky songs of James Whybrow, who possess a croon that can make anyone cry, the thick thunderous bass of Nic Durant, the dizzying tub bashing chops of Kai Arai, and introducing a new layer of sparkle with the debut of Lev Whitelaw. Whyb has never sounded like this before, and you will never be the same after watching this band.
